Midwife Jane Tisler welcomes expectant mothers to register their pregnancies.
Midwife Jane Tisler
I graduated from Tartu Applied Health Sciences University in 2018. Before graduating, I began my professional career as an assistant midwife, and after completing my studies, I worked as a midwife at the Women's Clinic of East Tallinn Central Hospital. I value the experience and knowledge I gained in a large hospital, and my time there, particularly as a midwife on duty, has prepared me well for the rest of my career.
As the first point of contact for women, especially pregnant women, in emergency admissions, I believe that open communication, good listening skills, and mutual respect with my patients are essential in my daily work. As a mother of a lovely little girl, I understand both the joys and the fears that accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. With an individualised approach, I aim to support women on their journey to motherhood and foster a trusting relationship with the entire family.
As a midwife, I want to reassure my patients that no concern is too small and that the well-being of both the woman and the fetus is my top priority. At the Fetal Ultrasound Center, I greatly value teamwork as a means of providing the best patient-centered service.
